ASG's Mission Statement

The Australian Scholarships Group is a member driven not-for-profit organisation that enhances the opportunity for all children to gain a complete education. 

The Organisation

In 1974 a small group of parents established the Australian Scholarships Group (ASG) as an independent not-for-profit friendly society helping families to plan for the future costs of their children’s education. Since inception ASG has helped contribute to the development of children, families, and teachers through a range of support initiatives, including education scholarship programs, publishing activities, parenting support and resources, social-emotional curriculum programs, and multimedia educational products.

Today, ASG is Australia's largest member-based organisation specialising in education scholarship programs that enable parents and grandparents to provide their children with greater educational opportunities. To date, ASG has helped more than 370,000 Member parents plan ahead for their children’s education costs. Now with more than $1.6 billion in funds under management, ASG is proud to be helping thousands of Australian parents with one of their most important investments – their children’s education.

ASG Members can gain satisfaction from the peace-of-mind that comes from education planning with an organisation that cares as much for their children’s education as they do. As a not-for-profit friendly society, earnings generated on Members’ contributions go back to beneficiaries, not to shareholders. Plus, eligible beneficiaries enjoy the additional benefit of special tax concessions.
