Inside this issue – Early Horizons

We’ve come to the end of another year, and this time we’re not only bidding you ‘Happy Holidays’ but also farewell. This will be the last issue of Early Horizons, you see.

We’ve enjoyed putting together each issue, and our readers tell us about how much they’ve relished each magazine. The decision to stop this publication was made with our business plans in mind.

One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is our attempt to highlight uplifting articles and stories, shared by educators. In this issue, you will read about how the Aboriginal Transition to School Program helps children in the community get the best early education.

Inside the pages of this magazine, you will also come across the reason we need gender equality in early childhood and care providers, a snapshot of what Kathy Walker’s book What’s The Hurry is all about, and how you can teach children about healthy food options.

We hope you enjoy this issue and find it useful. Goodbye, Season’s Greetings and best wishes for a Happy New Year!
