ASG Parents Report Card 2016: New Zealand parents' perceptions
The ASG Parents Report 2016 investigates the state of education in New Zealand from parents’ perspective.
In recent years, education policy and funding discussions have been centred on ranking, testing and scoring students, but has lacked the insight of an enormously influential and important stakeholder group in the education community – New Zealand parents.
That’s why ASG and the Faculty of Education at Monash University, Australia, developed this study, to understand how parents feel about the current educational environment in meeting their children’s learning needs.
It is our desire that the findings of this research, which are unique, will become an important part of the discourse on education matters.
