The importance of planning for your child’s education

ASG is the largest provider of education scholarship plans in New Zealand and Australia. Since inception in 1974, we have supported the education journey of more than 530,000 children and more than $2.5 billion has been returned to members.

ASG was introduced in New Zealand in 1990 and has been helping New Zealand families for more than 25 years.

Our versatile education funds offer a range of options to plan for the costs of education. Contributions are invested by fund managers who take a conservative approach to ensure sustainable long term growth, giving you peace of mind.

Under the New Zealand Income Tax Act 2007, scholarship benefit payments are likely to be free from tax on the basis they are payments of a scholarship or bursary.*

Our members also enjoy ongoing support from a range of tools and information designed to further their child’s academic, social and emotional development. From parenting information to career planning tools, these resources provide expert advice for all ages – from early childhood to post-secondary.
